The Team behind
THE SLOKA is a Centre for Learning Enhancement dedicated to bring out the excellence or potential hidden within each child branded as Learning Disabled. Such children may have attendant problems (co-morbid disorders) like Attention-Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) or even Childhood Depression due to various reasons. So it requires a complete team of dedicated professionals to meet their needs. Hence THE SLOKA is backed by INNERVISION, situated at Thrissur, Kerala, India.
Innervision is an Institute for Counselling and Psychotherapy, established in 2002. It is functioning as a multi-disciplinary team consisting of a Psychiatrist, Clinical Psychologist, Counselling Psychologists, Psychotherapist, Special Educators, Pediatrician, Ayurveda & Homoeo Physicians, Yoga & Speech Therapists, Social Workers & Educationists. It is engaged in the conduct of regular training programmes for teachers in early identification of problems among children as well as in remediation techniques. It also conducts training programmes for children in various areas like study skills, exam techniques, communication skills, life skills training programmes, communication workshops, and other personality development programmes. Innervision is also the South Zone Headquarters of IBMS Counselling Courses. In association with Foundation for Social Health (NGO), it has conducted many workshops and camps at Taluk and District levels in connection with their School Mental Health Programmes.
